The effects of information resources on children and adolescent mental health in pandemics; Covid-19 sample

Aim of the study Pandemics have negative physical and mental effects on children adolescents. However, our knowledge about factors related to problems experienced in this process is limited. This aimed examine association between resources Covid-19 information exposure sociodemographic characteristics health during pandemics. Subject or material methods was carried out with 1030 children. The participants flow pandemic were recorded. Psychiatric assessed using DSM-5 Level-2 Anxiety Scale, Depression Sleep Disorder Scale. Results mean age found as 10.45 years. It determined that 33% had moderate/high level anxiety symptoms 16.1% depressive symptoms. Girl gender anxiety-depression sleep disorders, living urban area symptoms, increasing presence death due associated depression through TV, internet peer conversations via family disorder Discussion . Conclusions Measures be taken for both risk consequences may reduce psychological pandemics
